Jesus Direct Plate 7: Insights

‘Īrā (The Awakening)

עירא

Signature upon the Dust

The text concludes with a stunningly resonant imagery of the “first flower” forcing its way through the ash of destruction.

It suggests that life is not a biological accident, but a “revelation hewn from the dust”

The wildflowers dancing in the breeze are described as his “signature upon the world” a pervasive and persuasive harmony that finds the Divine not in stone temples, but in the “yearly bouquets” of the fields.

The Smile

The “Awakening” is presented as a psychological journey from the “abysmal darkness” to the warmth of being eternally seen.

The text acknowledges the “din” of the world, yet posits that the “Voice of Wisdom” has been calling from the silence all along.

The most moving insight of this final plate is the collapse of divine distance:

“And as you open your eyes with a smile — you will find that I have been smiling upon you — since the beginning”

This reveals that the Awakening is not a change in the Divine, but a change in our own sight—the realization that we have never been alone in the dark.

By his “Living Word,” our wounds are no longer hidden or merely managed; they are healed, and fables are cast aside for a life that is fierce and unbound.

Flesh Accomplishing Eternity

The text provides a hauntingly beautiful directive for the remaining days of a human life: “Before leaving this world — say and do every loving thing — that lives within you”

This is the ultimate “nerve-ending” of the Plates.

It argues that the purpose of our brief existence is to discharge every ounce of love we carry, leaving no word unspoken and no kindness undone.

The concluding line is a spectacular synthesis of the entire work:

“Upon lips of clay — ring out words of undying love — for thus does flesh accomplish eternity”

It is the final redemption of the material world. The “flesh,” which was flayed in the lamentation and scattered as bone in the deep, finds its ultimate glory here.

In this final awakening, the “lips of clay” become the instruments of an undying song, proving that love is the only force capable of turning the dust of the earth into the light of the stars.
